FROM NOVEMBER 28th – DECEMBER 2nd 2022, THE I/ITSEC 2022 TAKES PLACE IN ORLANDO, USA. BRUNNER CONTRIBUTES AT THE EPIC GAMES / UNREAL ENGINE BOOTH BY PRESENTING THE NOVASIM VR FLIGHT SIMULATOR WITH THE UNREAL ENGINE AT ITS CORE.

After participating the Unreal Fest 2022 in New Orleans this October, a great success story finds it’s continuation at I/ITSEC in Orlando. The #projectAntoinette demonstrator combines competencies and technologies from VARJO, Metrea Simulations and BRUNNER into a great NOVASIM 6DoF Motion VR-Flight Simulator.

Transforming Training: it was back in 2017 when BRUNNER introduced the world’s first VR Flight Simulator on a 6-DoF Motion System at ITEC in Rotterdam. It surpassed all expectations with its outstanding modularity and usability for a wide range of training applications. Since then, BRUNNER continually innovates its NOVASIM product line, to stay ahead of time.

Based on a high interest in industry to use Unreal Engine for Flight Simulations, Epic Games has created the Antoinette Project, a comprehensive set of resources to support the creation of the next generation of flight simulators. By extension, these resources also support the many types of vehicular simulators in development today.

The BRUNNER NOVASIM VR – Flight Simulator with Unreal Engine at its core marks a significant step forward towards the next-generation flight simulators that can serve a variety of purposes, bringing the opportunity for flexible, customizable training that can serve large numbers of pilots at once.

The Interservice/ Industry Training, Simulation, and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) is the world’s largest modeling, simulation, and training conference. Held from November 28th till December 2nd in Orlando, Florida, USA, I/ITSEC consists of peer-reviewed paper presentations, tutorials, special events, professional workshops, a commercial exhibit hall, a serious games competition, and STEM events for teachers and secondary students.
